Lagos is by Ladykiller the sire of Landgraf I. This jumping
line produced many of the great jumpers of all time. Lagos is
the sire of Margie Goldsteins' jumpers Lenz-Land of
Kings and Lacosta, winners of many Grand Prix Classes in
the US.
Performance Record:
Lacoste was presented as a stallion in Germany in 1984
and was approved. He then went on to the 100-Day
Stallion Testing in 1985 and passed with above average
scores in trainability, walk, trot, canter, character and free
jumping. After coming to the US as a six-year-old he was shown
through third level dressage. He won AHSA Qualifying class at
West Palm Beach before being retired to stud. He remains sound
at age 17.
Sire Record:
Lacoste is producing offspring with wonderful gaits and temperament
for amateur riders. Many are winning with junior riders.
He has a very high percentage of premium foals and mares at the
Holsteiner approvals. High Voltage by Lacoste was one of only
three premium mares of the 130 mares presented in 1995 and no mare
scored higher than her 47 points.
Larkspur:
LACOSTE / FLYING BEYOND. Suzanne Capps' 17.3 hand Larkspur has up a
level this season, having won quite a few First level Championships
in 1998.pair starting out this season and won the Second level adult
amateur Championships Waterloo in June followed by winning the
Second level adult amateur Championships.a score of 66.00%.
