Klaire was bred by the well known IRON SPRING FARM and is by the highly desired Preferent Stallion Roemer, who is now deceased. Roemer was a successful International Grand Prix Jumper, and a successful Grand Prix Dressage Competitor. He is one of a handful to reach the top of the sport in two disciplines. He stood in Holland, and was then Imported to the United States. Roemer was one of the first approved Dutch Warmblood breeding stallions imported into the United States in 1985. Roemer moved from a career as an International Grand Prix Jumper in Holland to a Grand Prix Dressage horse in the U.S. with Mary Alice Malone. Roemer is listed as the top producing sire of USDF Horses of the Year over an 11-year period in the United States. (1989-1999), he is a very successful producer who sired 5 Approved sons, 4 Preferent mares, 11 Star mares, 27 Keur mares, and 75 First Premium Foals.Roemer is also the first breeding stallion  to be inducted into the HOF.
 
Klaire's Dam is Annasette a Ster, Preferent, and Prestatie mare by the late Argentan who was the 1994 Hanoverian Stallion of the year. Argentan is the sire of 19 licensed stallions, 100 Premium mares, 2 German National Champion Mares, and the European Champion Mare. Argentan also sired Aramis, who placed 4th individually at the 1984 Olympics, and won the 1984 World Cup.
 
Annasette herself has been a top producer of sporthorses including Neptune the Na/WPN licensed stallion. Neptune scored a 9 on his walk, 7.5 on trot and canter an 8.  In 1999 he was 2nd place at Dressage at Devon breed show for older Stallions. Neptune is also the FULL BROTHER to Klaire. Annasette also produced the International Jumper Prospect Ovation who has won numerous Jumper championships. Annasette also produced Tibet ISF bred and owned by Iron Spring Farm,who won the 5YO qualifier at Gulf Coast National II among others.

Klaire has competed successfully at Training & First Level Dressage, winning Year End awards with a Junior Rider. She then competed through 3rd Level with an Amateur Adult, winning multiple awards. Klaire has 3 exceptional gaits, with natural push from behind, she carries well underneath herself. She stands a large 16.3 Hands, with impeccable conformation, as proven by her First Premie Ster Predicate. In 1997 Klaire was presented to The American Hanoverian Society where she was accepted into the Main Studbook and proclaimed the Champion non-Hanoverian mare. Klaire has proven to be not only a lovely dressage horse but has also produced incredible foals as well.
